Stormwater Clarification:

Construction site managers are facing increasing pressure to reduce stormwater run off impacts on streams, lakes, and estuaries adjacent to their projects. Traditional erosion and sediment control measures, even when properly installed and maintained, will often fail to prevent the release of highly turbid water to the environment.

However, there now exists a cost effective solution to this dilemma. Sediment and suspended solids runoff can readily be controlled through the use of site specific anionic polyacrylamide flocculants.

What is a flocculent you may ask? A flocculent is a substance, sometimes used in combination with coagulants, which cause suspended matter to aggregate into larger particles which can then be removed by settling or filtration.
